Scotland - A Possible Record?

We are having a particularly busy month in Scotland in March but wonder if the below sets a record for ‘speed’.

Planning permission granted - 4th February 2014

Application lodged to Midlothian Board – 18th February 2014

Public notices on display from – 21st February 2014

Public representation period expired – 14th March 2014

Application listed before the Board on – 18th March 2014 – and new provisional grant made!

From beginning to grant just 43 days.

We are grateful to the Board and their officers for their support in this.  Work is likely to start on site in May 2014.
